Sqribble Review – My Experience In Using It
With Sqribble ebook creator software anyone can Publish Your eBook in minutes!
In this section, I’m going to share with you my experience in using Sqribble so that you can see how you can be to create your first ebook in just 10 minutes.
As you can see, I am on the home dashboard here. The left-hand side selection panel will show you all your active Sqribble products.
I highly recommend that you upgrade to all of our products to complete the suite. That’ll give your account a lot more features, and you’ll be able to do a lot more with the products.
Creating your eBook
The Sqribble Suite is really your one solution to getting everything eBook-related done. You’ll be able to create funnels and eBooks and even sell your eBooks online. To create your very first eBook, you can go either click on ‘Start Sqribbling’ or go up to the ‘Templates’ menu.
Selecting ‘Start Sqribbling’ will direct you to all the templates, so it’s quicker to just select the templates menu. Depending on the version you have, all the templates will appear like this:
If you have Professional, they’ll all be fully loaded within this template library. So, I highly recommend that you upgrade to Sqribble Professional to get over 200 templates in your account.
When you find something that you like, you can click on ‘View’ to get a preview of the entire template layout.
The preview will look like this:
The preview will show all the pages in your selected template. If you’re happy with the template, click on ‘Use’ and insert the title of your eBook. Then, you can click on ‘Create Your eBook.’
You will then be directed to an editor that’ll allow you to customize every single page. We have a drag-and-drop interface, so you can grab anything within the editor and place it wherever you want. You can just click inside the text box to edit your template. Sqribble is really that easy to use.
Ebook customization tools
There’s a lot you can do with the text in your eBook. I’ve inserted a title below so I can customize it with you.
Because the background design is white, we can’t see the last part of the title. So, I can either change the font color or drag the title to a better position, just like this:
If the text you grabbed goes beyond the page, you can bring it into view by clicking on the ‘gear’ icon. A menu will pop up on the left, allowing you to move the text to the center. That’ll snap the text back into view so you can grab it again.
The text editing menu has other features such as bold, italics, underline, alignment, and text color. You can also use the link icon to add links.
You might also want to check out the settings menu that pops up when you click on the ‘gear’ icon on the far left.
With the settings menu, you can rearrange your eBook elements. You can add icons, corners, background colors, text colors, and change fonts. There’s a lot of customization. You just need to play around with the program.
Once you’re done with the cover, you can move on to the table of contents. You can fill this in manually or use our automation feature by clicking on the ‘Generate table of contents‘ button. This will automatically generate your table of contents.
This feature looks at all your headlines throughout the eBook and pulls them into the table of contents. That saves you a great amount of time. If you update any of the headlines, you can simply click on ‘Generate a table of content‘ again. Each template comes with page numbers and images you can easily move around to fit your aesthetic.
You can move the text around by grabbing the crosshairs. You can also convert any text to a headline. If you hover over the text, you’ll see the ‘paragraph menu‘. You can then click on the icon indicated by the arrow. This will also pull your new headline into the table of contents.
Images for every design style:
Sqribble templates allow you to add your own photos to the eBook. To do this, click on the ‘+’ icon at the bottom of the image in your template. A menu will appear, allowing you to insert elements of your choosing.
To add an image, click on ‘single image’ like I’ve done above, and an image box will pop up. When you click on it, you’ll see a menu allowing you to enter the URL of your image.
If you don’t have an image URL, you can click on the ‘+’ icon to select a stock image. Sqribble has quite an extensive selection of stock image categories. Alternatively, you can upload an image from your computer.
There’s a massive selection of images for you to use in every template. You can also change the system background if you wish. We’ve integrated many features you can customize to make your eBook creation a whole lot of fun.
Once you’ve added your preferred image, you can delete the old one. You can then drag the new image to wherever you want to place it.
Not enough pages on your template? No problem
Let’s say you get to the end and your eBook is not yet complete. Do not fret; you can add more pages. A‘+’ icon at the bottom of each page allows you to do this. When you click on it, you’ll get a whole selection of themes for your template set.
If you have one of the upgraded products, you can import pages from other themes as well. This will give you thousands of variations that you can then use to craft your ebook to perfection.
We have lots of different options, one of which is the ‘Add content’ function. You can use this function to upload, paste, or grab content from a URL.
The ‘Add content’ menu also allows you to add an article from our library. All you need to do is select a category on the left panel, click on the radio button next to the article of your choosing, and then click on ‘Add content.’If you have upgraded to Sqribble Professional, there are over a thousand articles to choose from. The new article will be added to the eBook. You can move things around and align your eBook elements to your liking.
The editor is very complex in the background but very easy to use. So, you need to have a good glance and ensure that all your objects and images are placed nicely and in proportion.
If you’re not happy with an element, you can click on the ‘Delete’ icon. You can also add an image by clicking on the yellow ‘+’ icon at the bottom of a paragraph.
Generating your eBook
Once you are happy with every aspect of your eBook, it will be ready for publishing.
Click on the ‘Generate eBook’ button and give it about five seconds to load. You’ll be able to view your generated eBook online or download a PDF to save it to your computer. I’d recommend that you start with the online view so you can see any formatting errors or design elements you’re not happy with.
The final touch-ups
Sqribble has several other features that can help you with alignment, such as grids.
You can format the grid sizing and contrast to fit your eBook design. This will ensure that all elements are properly aligned. You can then turn the grids off when everything is in place.
Sqribble has a colorizer function with lots of predefined palettes.
You can change your eBook to any of the predefined color palettes. When everything is ready, you can publish your eBook. When you click on ‘Publish’ at the top bar, you’ll get a box that allows you to add clients to whom you can send the eBook. You can even select the specific pages you want to show your client.
